Research: Day 1

Today was my first day of research because I wasn't here on the researching days last week. Mostly I have looked at a website called pharmaceuticalsales.com. It's about a book that had been an "insiders" look into landing a job. I think I am going to buy this book- for my own insight into this business, and for future referencing on the job. Mostly today involved reading excerpts from it and how it helped people land jobs. I think today I should have concentrated more on the actual information surrounding pharmeceuticals, but I think what actual people are doing in the world to help them get jobs is just important.

Journaling

In the packet about journaling, it mostly talks about the importance of having your minds ideas down on paper- it helps you sort out scrambled ideas in your mind, and partly your subconscience ideas as well. It should be both a log of "action" and "reaction", but also of "ideas and solutions". Some of the key ideas include:

~Write Quickly- don't stop.
~Don't erase or cross out words.
~Date entries.
~Write an Insight line.

Writing quickly comes difficult for me because I am used to when writing papers always rethinking my thoughts and statements to sound right, therefor it is hard to put down my actual feelings. That also goes along with erasing and crossing out words. Also, the insight line would be hard- what is my writing saying about me? Well, how am I suppose to know?

My concerns with the exit journal is probably being able to put pictures and stuff on here, cuz you have to upload them and all that. Other than that, I don't think I have any other questions.

First Post

So, this is my first official Senior Exit post. I think this online journal is going to work alot better for me than a book type one. Anyways, my parents are irritating me, because I need to make an appointment with my mentor (aka my aunt).... and they are not helping me make a schedule. My biggest concern as of now- I don't even know what I'm suppose to research or anything yet! Ahh... hopefully things will straighten out soon.
